BENIN CITY — The Edo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Dr. Jerry Uwangue, has charged cleaners and drivers in the Ministry to ensure that all offices, vehicles, and the entire premises are kept clean and functional.
Dr. Uwangue gave the directive during a familiarization meeting with staff at the Ministry’s Conference Hall in Benin City.

In a separate meeting with Directors, Heads of Departments, and State Project Coordinators, Dr. Uwangue called for synergy and innovation to reposition the agricultural sector in Edo State.
“I will align myself with the Ministry’s vision, objectives, and mandates to change the agricultural narrative in Edo State. Let us be accountable, transparent, and honest in our duties so that the people of Edo State can feel the impact of our work,” he said.
The Permanent Secretary, Mr. Sunday Osayande, along with other Directors and Project Coordinators, pledged their cooperation, assuring the Commissioner of their commitment to achieving the Ministry’s goals.
They also resolved that management meetings would hold every first Monday of the month to review progress and set new targets for the Ministry.
