…Approves 9 other key Advisers
BENIN CITY — Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Hon. Orobosa Omo-Ojo, JP, as the new General Manager of Bendel Newspaper Corporation, publishers of The Nigerian Observer.
The appointment was announced in a statement issued on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., who also unveiled nine other key appointments into advisory positions designed to strengthen governance and accelerate ongoing reforms in the state.
Other appointees include Hon. John Osagie Inegbedion as Special Adviser on Tax Reforms; Johnson Jibril Adamu, Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation; Shuaibu Elamah, Special Adviser on Law Reforms; and Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Imafidor, Special Adviser on Livestock, Aquaculture, and Agro-Processing.
Also appointed are Omorede O. E. Osifo as Special Adviser on Women Mobilization; Esther O. Eghaghe (Edo Central), Vera Omonkhafe Sadoh (Edo North), and Mrs. Itohan Osahon (Edo South) as Special Advisers on Women Mobilization across the senatorial districts; while Anslem Adima was named Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
According to the statement, all the appointments take effect from Monday, October 27, 2025.
