Spread the love

so every 5 years in light those without light are ageing 45years so ten light years = 90earth years . how many known objects travel at the speed of light today in the universe . how many living objects . what speed is the universe travellling at if light is travelling through it . is it stationary as we are on earth so how does that affect the age of the universe ???

Earth travels through space at a variety of speeds:
  • Orbiting the sun

Earth orbits the sun at an average speed of 67,000 miles per hour (107,000 kilometers per hour). This is calculated by dividing the distance of Earth’s orbit around the sun (584 million miles) by the time it takes to complete one orbit (365.25 days), and then dividing that result by 24 hours.

  • Rotating

Earth rotates on its axis once every 24 hours in relation to the sun, and once every 23 hours, 56 minutes, and 4 seconds in relation to distant stars.

  • Moving through the Milky Way

The Milky Way galaxy is also moving through space, and astronomers estimate that it moves at a speed of 1.89 million kilometers per hour.

  • Moving through the Local Group

The Local Group of galaxies, which includes the Milky Way, Andromeda, and the sun, is moving at a speed of about 627 kilometers per second relative to the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB).

  • Moving through the Virgo Supercluster
The Virgo Supercluster attracts the Local Group at a speed of about 300 kilometers per second, while an underdense region of space on the opposite side repels it at a similar speed. This results in a net motion of about 600 kilometers per second for the Local Group.
