Spread the love

It has been a week of interesting conversations with the diplomatic community as I met with ambassadors from Egypt, Israel, and Sweden to explore strategic partnerships for the upliftment of our people.

During my chat with the Egyptian Ambassador H.E Ihab Awad, we agreed to explore private sector partnerships between Egypt and Nigeria especially in key sectors like power, hospitality, healthcare, and the COP27 summit which will be hosted for the first time in Africa – Egypt, in November.

Speaking about Nigeria, H.E Amb. Michael Freeman from Israel who has only been here for two weeks said “One thing I have seen so far is that the people in Nigeria are so vibrant and eager to do better and be better. These traits are very similar to Israel, and by exploring technology we can do amazing things in Africa”.
His words emphasized the importance of shared values which I consider vital for achieving mutual success in partnerships.

Lastly, there is so much we can benefit from collaborating with Sweden which has one of the fastest-growing tech economies in the world. The Swedish ambassador and I discussed harnessing Sweden’s impressive investment in startups to create more economic opportunities for smart and hardworking entrepreneurs here in Africa.

I am hopeful for what the future holds for Africa. Happy weekend everyone. #TOEWay #Africa #Africapitalism #Entrepreneurship
