A Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday slammed a former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode with a N200,000 fine, for being absent from court for his re-arraignment.

Fani-Kayode, who recently decamped from the People’s Democratic Party back to the ruling All Progressives Congress, sent a word through his counsel, Mr. F. Ajudua, that he was having bed rest.

The court asked his counsel to choose between revoking Fani-Kayode’s bail or paying the fine.
